Seminyak is a holiday resort located to the north of Legian and Kuta on the south west coast of Bali. Seminyak beach is an expanse of sand which stretches off into the distance in both directions, as with the rest of the resort Seminyak beach is quieter than the beaches to the south making it the perfect place to find some space and soak in the Balinese sun. The water here is also calmer making it ideal for those who fancy a swim.
In theme with Seminyak's laid back and relaxed ambience many of the hotels offer spa facilities which offer the perfect way to relax away from the beach. Seminyak offers plenty of sites to see including Pura Petitenget, a small typical Balinese temple which is just a step away from the beach. Seminyak does not have a particularly busy nightlife however there are a number of high quality bars and restaurants in the area as well as a variety of shops and boutiques selling a range of art and fashion.
Bali has a tropical climate; it is generally dry and sunny from April to September, with temperatures ranging from 25C to 33C. Bali experiences slightly higher rainfall from October to March, however it is still warm with temperatures between 25C and 35C. The coastal regions of Bali are typically hotter than inland, however, refreshing sea breezes make it more comfortable and pleasant.
